Taste WA (Seattle): 4th-5th
Washington State is gaining world-wide recognition as a premium wine region- this is your chance to see what the buzz is all about. Tickets are required and are available at http://www.tastewashington.org/.
The Grape Choice Tasting: 15th
Join us from 5pm-8pm for a selection of our wines. The Grape Choice is located in Kirkland at 7 Lakeshore Plaza. Visit http://www.thegrapechoice.com/ for more information.
Pre-Barrel Tasting: 18th-19th
Avoid the crowd that will be at all the wineries the next weekend. This is a great opportunity to taste straight from our barrel and get a sneak peak of what will be in a bottle the next time you visit us. This is an event weekend so those sampling wines will need a glass.
Vineyard Crew: 18th
Our pruning session will begin at 12noon. Learn how and why we prune our vineyard.
Vineyard Tailgating and Barrel Tasting: 24th SOLD OUT!!!
A private tour of our vineyard and winery as well as Culturra and Severino Cellars. Heavy appetizers will be paired with wines at each stop. We have a limited amount of space available, tickets are $50.00/person. Please contact info@twomountainwinery.com for tickets.
Spring Barrel Tasting: 25th-26th
A chance to taste straight from our barrels and visit with our winemaker. The atmosphere of barrel tasting is unlike any other, many neighboring wineries will have live bands and food available. This is an event weekend as well, so bring you TMW glass for sampling!

Vineyard Crew: 6th
Our second session Summer Thinning will start at 10am. You will learn the do's and don'ts of thinning a vineyard and see the progress of your vine from the last session. (Please note the earlier time).

4th Annual Chalk Party: 13th
Celebrate being a kid again this year as we draw with chalk on the floor of our tasting room. All of the proceeds will benefit the Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Center. Join us for wine, music, food and fun.

The 4th Annual Red, White & Blues is an event not to be missed. If you love blues, pair the music with your favorite wines while you relax to the sounds of the best blues bands around.

Vineyard Crew: 10th
10am. HARVEST!! (please note this date is subject to change due to good old mother nature). See all of your hard work come to fruition and see what it takes to harvest wine grapes.
Winemaker for a Day: 17th
2pm-4pm. Back by popular demand! Your opportunity to participate in the activities of a winemaker during crush. Activities include running Brix tests, examining must and the general escapades of a winemaker during this hectic yet exciting time of year. This event sold out very quickly last year so make your reservations early.
Through the month of October we are picking, crushing and making wine! Those of you who have visited us in the month of October have seen us in action. This is a great time to see the process of winemaking and pick up some local produce as an added bonus.
November
Thanksgiving in the Wine Country 27th-29th. One of our favorite events because it centers on food and wine! Wineries in the Yakima Valley will all pair specialty food with their wines. Bring your families visiting for the holidays and enjoy a day in wine country. Remember you will need to bring a glass for this weekend.

Winemaker for a Day – October **Featured in Sunset Magazine**

Find out if you can hack it as a winemaker when you join us for our hands-on Winemaker for a Day event held annually in October. This exclusive event features the opportunity to participate in the most exciting time of year at Two Mountain – harvest and crush. The first hour will be spent in Two Mountain Vineyard with Vineyard Manager Patrick Rawn, examining the vines and learning how to determine when the grapes are ready for harvest. Then you’ll roll up your sleeves and head to the Two Mountain cellar for the second hour with Winemaker Matt Rawn, where you’ll learn about and take part in the process of crush. With hands-on guidance, you’ll learn how to read brix through a hydrometer, take temperature readings, participate in punch-down and learn about the fermentation process. Two Mountain Winery’s “Vineyard Crew” lets wine lovers and aspiring viticulturists unleash their inner farmers and learn what it takes to grow premium wine grapes in the heart of Yakima Valley. Led by Patrick Rawn with support from winemaker Matt Rawn, Vineyard Crew sessions focus on a range of seasonal topics from pruning to thinning, verasion to harvest. Crew members tend to assigned Vineyard Crew vines at four key growing periods during the year so they experience each of the grape growing cycle first hand. Each of the four, half-day sessions includes a finger-filthying enological experience followed by wine and appetizers in our Two Mountain cellar. Vineyard Crew members receive generous discounts of 15% off per bottle/20% off per case, a cool member tee-shirt and, of course, dirty hands and serious bragging rights. Every summer, we welcome wine lovers to bring their favorite lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy our outdoor Dinner and a Movie series at Two Mountain Winery. You’ll enjoy a catered dinner and fabulous Two Mountain wines followed by a private screening of some of our favorite films on the cool, soft grass outside our winery. Dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. and we start the movies at dusk. At $25 per person, our Dinner and a Movie events are the perfect way to unwind after a day touring Yakima Valley’s wine country.
